FS High Out Put Alternator "7afe" - 6G Celicas Forums

Hey guys well i have a mech man high output alternator for sale that came off of my car only because it was totalled.

This thing was benched to make 150amps at idle and over 260 at 2000rpms this was custom built for a 7afe and worked flawlessly

im looking for 275 shipped obo because this cost me over 500 new, if you need any pics of this with name and date or have any questions just let me know

the stock alt on a 5speed is 80 and on an auto is 90 im not 100% sure on the exacts but its close to that, but i can have pics up tomorrow tonight around midnight cause im going out of town for the day

and just for an example on the stock alt i was having problems keeping up with 1500 watts and a big batt in the front, when i put this in i went to over 3000 watts and had no problems with the idle up a little bit to keep over 13.xx volts so it does big power

hi im very interested. but how does the patment and shipping work exactly are you located in NY by any chance?

well i have the box that it was shipped in and ill get another box to make it safer if i cant find the outer box but i wanna say that its around 20$ or so to ship and a little more if you want it insured but you shouldnt need it, but ill get an exact price and if you wanna do paypal ill wait for the money then go straight to fedex or place of your choice and ship it out and give you a conformation number and tracking number what ever you want

That's pretty dang close. I have seen these before and was considering for my car. 80 and 90 are the idle output, correct? Because I am almost certain in acceleration it is nearly double output. Still though, what you have there is a SUPER alt.

no that is max output for those, you will almost never see the max output for the oe alts

i cant go that low this alt is less than 6 months old, but ill keep you in mind if there are no other takers

okay thanks (i already have a H.O. alt, just not that high and i just bought it, thats y i offered so low, take a look at my profile. got a 4000+ watt system, and 3 kinetik batteries X) but can tell my alt isnt doin the job still

is it walled off, and i really dout that the one lanzar is going to do anything over 1800 or so and who makes your alt

im not sure at all, but if you call 1888mechman and ask them they will tell you if there is any way to make it work
