Ok I have a down pipe for a ct26 on my ct20b. I see there is 1 extra bolt hole. I removed it and it fit but I may be having issues because of it being a ct26 dp on a ct20b. Is there a problem with using this setup?

the wastegate door hangs up on the flange of those cheap ebay downpipes.
you can gasket match the flange to solve the problem.
if you just wanna buy a new one, the berk pipe is a very nice peice. quite a few of us are running them.

I have an ebay downpipe and I would go with BERK DOWNPIPE for exhaust line fitment (it got a flexpipe) it costed me a couple of hundred bucks to renew the 3" exhaust line...

Tommorow I am going to try to fix the ebay down pipe from keeping the wastegate open. As far as gasket matching it i dont know what that means. I was going to grind the flange down a little on the inside closest to the wastegate flap. It cant be to much to grind does anyone think this will work?

yes, lots of guys do it to the cheapo ebay pipes. its pretty much a must.

Just to be sure - you did change the fuel pump to a Walbro 255L/H or similar right? I know back in the day when people would use SupraTT Fuel pumps a few of us had hiccups at 6K RPM+

Yes my pump is a walbro 255. I just got home an decided to get a jump on taking off the dp. I noticed that a vacum cap was missing on the port thats suppose to be caped on the acuator for my mbc. Would the vacum cap missing cause me to have the issues I am having? Its the port that goes to the tvis. And also I have all nuts off the dp and most all the studs off but there is no room for the dp to come off do all the studs have to be removed to get off the dp?

Well I went to grind down the flange and it dont look like it hitting infact the flange is smaller than the gasket. So grinding the flange would make no sence because the gasket is bigger ant ideas

Have you actually checked the wastegate flapper door movement while EVERYTHING was still on the car? Put everything back on, and put 20+psi into the wastegate port, and watch the flapper door movement. If the flapper door opens and closes fully, it is not your problem.

If the flapper door seems to be getting hung up and there is no visual part of the DP interfering with the flapper door, gasket match the INSIDE of the DP to the gasket.

I will check that out with the air compressor. But as far as gasket matching the flange you make the flange the same size as the gasket? Well if so I was going to do that but the gasket is bigger than the flange. Do you see what i am saying? I will put pics up tommorow of the gasket an the flange so you cansee what I mean thanks
