Just some background,

Bryan sent me a MR2 Turbo - 3SGTE harness, which is 100% different than a Celica wiring harness and I converted it to work in his Celica GT w/ a 3SGTE. Full plug and play!!

Cool... another question...

Do you only do 3SGTE harnesses? Or other motors as well...

Usually...

ST185 -> 6th Gen is $350
SW20 -> 6th Gen is $450
AE*** -> 6th Gen is $400

What i normally need is your original harness and the harness of the motor you are installing to make sure I have every connector i would need to do the swap

Extra Connectors I can normall get my hands on, usually $10 ea.

Having said that, we are having a bit of trouble with Johns harness and I won't take on another 4AGZE swap until his or Ryan's works to make sure im not just making a spagetthi dinner with those wires.

In Ryan's Case he actually sent me a harness that was hacked VERY badly and Im in the process of rebuilding the missing parts, so if you get a hacked harness with a imported engine don't throw it out!

I pictured mike in a dark room, petting the harness, saying over and over "MY PRECIOUS"...

Whats up with the 205 harnesses? when ya getting those books?
he finished my harness about 2 weeks ago.

It looks amazing. I swear it looks like it came right out of the dealer.

He does good work, send him your harnesses if your doing a swap. You will not regret it.

Thanks again mike.
TIG OLE BITTIES!!!

Holy Cow!!

The ST205 copies are coming with an order from NZ...

let me get this straight, you make it so I can plop the engine in, with the necessary mechanical and physical alterations, and I dont need to worry about wiring, you just make it so the harness plugs all up? If so that is like a huge step that will eliminate alot of the problems Ive been seeing with doing this swap! Well when I get my car I will have enough left over for the engine and parts so i think I will jump on the band wagon.
Yeah, thats exactly why i've decided to go ahead with an ST185 swap after my engine dies out what what-not....as opposed to a turbo that is. >smile.gif>

So let me get this straight, you do this harness and it takes out all the electrical work for doing the swap? Or what exactly is this needed for?

i am awesome
just curious how did you learn how to do that because that just baffles my mind, it looks so complicated. but nice work!
Ok. I don't mean to step on any toes, but I want to make sure some of the viewers of this thread understand.

From what I believe, all you need is your current car's wiring harness and the wiring harness from the engine that you are going to swap in. Also, I do believe that is takes out all of the complicated work in doing a 3S-GTE swap (The wiring).

When I get my car and do the ST205 swap, I'll probably buy an extra 6GC wiring harness and send that along with the ST205's wiring harness that way I can drive around in the Celica until it is done. With that said, I figure the swap could be done in only a weekend or so (once you have the converted
wiring harness), since the physical swap isn't so hard.
