The best you're gonna do is bite the bullet and buy it new... you can get an Exedy clutch kit on Amazon (it says there's 2 left at this price) for 95.27 and if you choose Super Saver Shipping it'll ship for free. They ship pretty fast too, so you'll have it by early next week most likely.

he's looking for something he can afford, and in terms of affordability, that's about the best quality clutch he can get for the money. You don't need a stage 2 clutch on a n/a.

depends on how you drive. It's a reliable one, yes. It's a very very good clutch. If you think your Celica is a race car, and you beat the hell out of your clutch, you're going to have to replace it in a few years. If you drive your car more appropriately to the way it was meant to be driven, then you should get normal wear out of the clutch. What's normal? I don't know to be honest. That's going to vary greatly depending on your driving style and how often you drive your car.

Either way, it's a good quality clutch. Search the forum for further validation.

wow, that cluch is dirt cheap. i have an exedy in mine and they are as good as the OEM ones. if you can wear out a clutch in 23kmiles, there has to be something wrong with how you drive. launching/dumping a OEM replacement clutch or you like to ride on your clutch pedal. my brother put close to 130k kms on a exedy and its not slipping yet.

^or you have oil contamination on your flywheel from a leaky rear main seal.

stage 1 is the way to go, BUT just remember that Exedy stage 1 is different from the Exedy OEM replacement or "Organic" clutch. You get that early engagment, without the harsh stiff feel in the pedal.
