Hey, stenotsaw sold me a st202 strut bar from jap.
Its a rare bar, that i have not seen, its an old model for st202
this is it

so i decided to refurbish it and sand it

but when i took this bastard apart PITA

electrolysis had already taken a toll

and the inside of the thread

the thread is in good shape, but the pieces of aluminum are stuck
any good way to melt the aluminum? Heat?
now the centerpiece will be a pain to get, i think they are reverse threads!!!!
but im thinking it can be found.
oh and for those of you with mad skills, this is a simple desing to copy and make these sukers in a modified way,
if anybody interested, i can take detailed pics.....
oh, and any help is appreciated...
