Yeah, that's why I figured his was too low.

If you have a manual and someone with an auto and the same car is getting better mpg than you, either a) your car needs some work or b) you drive with a lead foot.

Yeah, my mileage tops at 34. Which was mostly highway. I can get as low as 28 though, when I'm flooring it, redlining it, and really being rough with the car.

I'm all about gas mileage though, I track it every time I fill up. I average a little over 30 -- about 31.

1996 ST 5 speed, 73,XXX miles, no modifications at all, not even an exhaust or rims.

NOTE: I also do city cruising (30mph constants) in 5'th gear. I think this helps my gas mileage quite a bit, and it doesn't make my engine choke or anything.
I average combined about 27-35mpg, trying to go slow on highways (55-65mph), and try to have a feather light foot in city.
A bit of a waste for a SS-ii 3sGE beast. But feels good to boost now and again - Shell V-power is great but expensive 98 octane petrol.

If in the UK - use this calculator - its brilliant http://www.grantgibson.co.uk/misc/fuel-economy-calculator/

14,000?! On a 96? Damn, I think you have the lowest mileage of anyone on this site.

I get anywhere between 34-38 mpg. Car has 282k but the engine's only at about 155k. I think the lowest it's ever been was about 31, but I was lead-footing EVERYWHERE.

I generally get 10 litres per 100km on average so roughly 24mpg and that's not worrying about how much fuel I use, on a long trip with highway I get 28-33mpg.
I actually just filled up last friday and had averaged about 32 mpg on mine. that's tied for the highest i've ever had.
150k mi. on the engine.
Injen SRI
ebay header (installed about halfway through the tank, I also removed my second O2 sensor)
approx 60 - 70mph local highway speed to and from work.
regular unleaded gas (87octane?)

I'm curious if the new header will help my gas mileage at all.

34-36 mpg. Never over 75mph, car has 217,xxx, and that's a mix of highway and city. It was 33-34 before i put on the $15 pepboys intake, lol.

and i cant say i'm a "spirited driver" on the street, havn't raced this car this season yet either.
