Stock strut bar + 2 point strut bar - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #66866 10 posts Started by geetje
I saw this on ebay,

http://cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...em=380095419861

and wondered if it was a good idea to get a stock strut bar and combine it with this 2 point strut bar.

Why is it much cheaper than a Cusco bar? Is it just the name or the quality of the product?

Has anyone else tried this bar, please tell me?
it's gonna be better than nothing, but this is not among the best bars out there. it does fit nicely and it'll make for a cost efficient 3 point bar, so go for it.

So apparently 6th gen and 7th gen front bars are interchangeable?

No, they're not.

I think you have to look at the pics in the ebay ad. The mounting points are different.
He's selling a strut for the 200-2008 model and one for the 93-99 model.
Ahh, ok... I misunderstood the ad then.
That's pretty much my set up, stock strut bar combined with one from ebay similar to that one. Works pretty nicely, but a real 3-pt would be even better.

If you are on a tight budget, the stock+that one would be a good combo.

I'm not on a tight budget, but can't find a 3-pt strut for a 93-99 on ebay.

So this is my option.
