Ignition Ring Light...Information Please to Fit on ST - 6G Celicas Forums

I have found a nice little circuit diagram for which will help change your interior/courtesy lighting...it will softly get brighter and then once door is closed it will then fade to darkness slowly.

The timings can be varied with the size of the reister used:

Oh how I wish I knew what any of that meant. I sure liked that feature on my 4Runner! kindasad.gif

I have found several little circuit diagrams when doing some research...I shall post some more info soon that has bit more of an explanation.

Apparantly, you can purchase an already made circuit that you can just connect to the lighting?
i am just going to do this conversion on my celica, but trying to get the transponder to see the key aint easy!

well i see some resistors a capacitor and a transistor and the lamp, but the other thing below the lamp i have no idea.

and a diode

It's a MOSFET (Power Transistor). Google BUZ74.

Also, missed the transistor, BC337
