Spindle for Hub bearing - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #66299 4 posts Started by davidlwade
Ok. I own a 1996 Celica ST that I've been doing work to for a couple of years now. I just had to replace a hub bearing a few weeks ago. Well, a similar but much worse noise was back so I took my car to the shop last week. They told me that the spindle for the hub bearing was now going bad. I asked him how much that would be and his answer was "I don't know right off, but the problem is going to be FINDING one". Obviously I didn't care for the sound of that. Do any of you have any advice to give here. I don't want to have to park my Celica. Thanks in advance for any help.

Which side? Buy mine Im parting out and my car and my passenger side has a new wheel bearing in it with around 15K miles. The driver side is still in good shape too.

Spindles need to be ordered from the Dealer and i believe are around $145usd or so
carquest is a good option.
