Topic #66124 9 posts Started by RavenAegis45
Im just wondering what the drag Coefficient is for our cars. I understand that the earlier models probably have a slightly different coefficient than the later models since the bumpers and Spoilers are different. mines a 98 GT
The drag coefficient should be .32

where F=drag force (air resistance), 'rho' (the p-looking symbol) is the air density, v=velocity, A=cross-sectional area, and Cd=Drag Coefficient.

The 97 hatch and coupe are .32, the vert is .34

LOL well said biggrin.gif

Oh and thanks for replying
just for interests sake the coef of the gtfour is .34 i think, But this is for wrc/group A versions, the wing makes that .02 of a diff, it does however provide 50kg of downforce at 100km/h.

thats pretty impressive for just a simple Spoiler, I'm assuming the SS-III with the high Spoiler also makes that Coefficient?
