i heard theres an intake for an accord but that fits the ST 95... but idk what year or model the accord is.? any body know?
I know it's true for the GT that there was a generic CAI made for like the 90-93 Accord that was a good base to cut up and make an intake for a GT. In fact, I used to have one but found a better setup. I can't remember the exact one, but it was like $25-30 on ebay.

IMO just running a factory airbox without the in-fender resonator yielded much better results.

*EDIT* found it on ebay. intake

I will give the intake credit that it sounded pretty awesome and did give some throttle response. To make it fit you have to cut the piping a little with like a dremel and drill a hole for the air-temp sensor, but otherwise you just run the one pipe into the fender and the other to the throttle body. Should be a how-to on here somewhere.

1999 Celica GT
so then i shouldnt buy for the ST
i tried the accord intake and was dissapointed to find out that it didn't fit through the hole on the inner fender. An oversize diameter but it meant cutting the chassis. F THAT. I managed to make an intake out of an accord short ram from work. AEM dryflow FTW!

In the end there were no benefits from all that screwin around, except for a throatier sound under wot. -_- I guess it was worth the effort since i had something to tinker with.

long story short, make sure you get the 2.5 inch accord piping. not the 2.75 like i did.

Like "endswifter" said, get 2.5in diameter pipings, one "L" shape and another "s" shape. There's a how to sticky about building your own CAI intake for reference.

Hahahaha.....I've been fixing my car for a total of 24 hours, it's been 4 long days in the cold. Haven't been thinking straight and my mind is always on what to do with the car and how to fix it.
