Ok so i've gotten a couple different answers on this and how to set up my exhaust.

what i need to know is

1. Do i change the pipe from the pre cat to the post cat?
2. Do i just delete the post cat?
3. how far away from the muffler should the resonator be?

I don't want raspy, i want kind of a deeper growl sound, Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I wanted a nice growl too. I just had a performance header, performance flex pipe, opened piping to hi flow cat and performance exhaust muffler installed this past week. I got the car back today. I noticed it powers on up pretty good but it sounds kinda funky, not what I expected to hear. Kinda sounds like there's no growl, just bass-ee. I also have a short ram air intake from Injen which did get louder.

get a resonator. mine has that growl I wanted just need a high flow cat so it'll be a little louder. its not all too loud now. I got stock header with precat and postcat 2.25 pipe from tiger to a magnaflow resonator to dynomax muffler.

let it settle in, mine was super loud and super bassy but now its almost too quiet but sounds great haha, If it doesnt change within a month get a small resonator.
