so the celica has been sitting in my pole barn all winter cause i have a truck to drive then. so my dad went out one day and noticed that it had leaked a large amount of fluid onto the ground. we saw that it was radiator fluid and we have no idea how it started leaking, its just been sitting.
i just went out and took a closer look because it is warmer now and took a picture of what i saw.

so i think this is the problem because i have never seen anything like it before, but idk. any ideas?

looks like it has a disease or something. Definitely do a flush too.
That looks like frozen coolant my friend, hope that I'm wrong.

just get a new radiator, unless you just want to with slow down the leakage with some radiator stop leak, but i have no idea how well that works.
Its been a rough winter in wisconsin/michigan by getting a foot of snow one day then the next being 50 out.

wow, that looks nasty. Personally ive never seen frozen coolant, maybe it had too much water? Whatever the case is, im sure it shouldnt look like that. Id check whats hanging out on the inside of you hoses and water housing, when you change your radiator. Could be a chance that you have more of that poo substance working around your system.
coolant corroded through the radiator and has been leaking for some time by the looks of it. were you mixing coolant with tap water/well water? replace the radiator and do a coolant flush with some of that prestone stuff, blow out the block and heater core with some compressed air and rinse it all out well, you probably have **** like that else where inside the cooling system.

Looks like someone took a dump on your rad....I would for sure do a complete flush on the system. As mentioned above, you probably have more of this elsewhere.
