so i got my new shocks in the mail today and the front shocks are fine but the rear are just the tube. theirs no base
or any where to put the brake line. its only the tube nothing else. what do i do?
Check to see if the P/N match up with what you ordered.
the fronts are the "TUBE" cuz its inserts for the rebuidable ST suspernsion.
the actual whole assemble you thought was the fronts are the REARS!!!!
I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island
some front struts are not replaceable and are actually a solid piece( im talking about the front by the way). this happened to me i went back and bought the complete strut for the front. make sure you have the right item.
Yeah, it sounds as if he has the struts reversed, but I didnt want to come out and say it. Maybe he ordered sealed struts all the way around, but somehow got shipped out wrong.
If your fronts are not OEM struts then it is in no way rebuildable.
true, mine are stamped "made in spain" so im guessing it has the monroe in the front??
but if your on stock those tubes are for the front..
You can tell they are inserts for the fronts when you can detach the shock off the front assembly - not all can. The rears are the full assembly, however you could have gotten the full assembly for the fronts too if you wanted.
