I have an idea. I have a need for temperature measurement, and some other measurements in my car. I am getting some gauges for oil temp, voltage and so on, but why not use the clock for this?
Is there possible to use the clock as a temperature measurement too?
Then I can switch between clock and temperature measurement with one of the buttons which already are there.
Most of the newer cars Toyota makes have this feature incorporated into the dash or wherever the clock is mounted. It's usually clock, outside temp, avg mpg, current mpg, avg mph. You could probably get one from say a 04+ Solara or Camry and try to fit it into the Celica's clock housing.

probably costs a small fortune knowing toyota, try a junkyard... our stock clocks to order from toyota are well over $150
