alright i've got about 300 or so to spend on the celi. i've been thinkin about a few things, but im' wondering what you guys think.

right now i just have a custom cat-back.

thinking about...

Intake(Short Ram or CAI?)
Plugs and Wires (what kind?)
Header (is it worth the money?)
Suspenion (KYBs w/ eibach sportlines?)

um that's all i can think of, anyone else with any other suggestions?

by the way its a 94 St auto.

300 dollars ... humm take the advice from the dude from this forum (can't remember his name) and save the money. And when you got enough cash do some good investments. Now you maybe are buying sh*t parts because you are on a budget while when you saved your cash you can buy that better part.

Like the guy told I dont wanna be your daddy but when I was younger I bought a pc and sh*t. I recently calculated what I invested in the 3 pc's I had in 5 years time. 6000 dollars! If I wasn't stupid enough too keep on buying faster little thingies I could have bough that outrageous celica.

Oh well its getting late and I am starting to talk like my father.

Same here. I suggest to save your money and I know that it may be hard to control yourself but don't do it. How long did it take to save that money? About 2 weeks? Try saving $300 every 2 weeks that's six hundred a month and in 5 months (may or june) you got $3100. Then ask people on here what they think that you should spend it on. Time for the engine swap.

I'm sure you dont want to listen to a drunk guy who doesnt even have a 6th gen and another guy with every mod known to man. So, i'll help you out. Have you ever driven your car on a track? If you have then you probably wouldnt be asking what to buy, you would have already ordered a better suspension. But because you already have a cat-back you should get an Injen Intake along with a K&N Filter(if it doesnt already come with a filter) and if you have any money left over maybe get/save up for that header. I'm sure i didn't help you out much but at least i didnt tell you to save up your money for an engine swap >> .

i don't have every mod. If you were even talking about me. I don't want to start an arguement and I do see where you are coming from red wuken, it's just that there is no way in hell that I would've been able to buy things that I really wanted without saving money. I guess he could go either route. Except for the drunk guy. Your ideas were good too. I guess that I would've replied to this different if he wouldn't have asked for any other suggestions. If he just wants to spend the 300 and that's it I agree with you, he should get an intake. Especially a CAI. Oh and one more thing, I didn't tell him to save money to get the engine, I suggested that he save his money a little longer and then ask what people he should buy. And when I said time for the engine swap, I meant that I was going back out to the garage to start on mine.
No hard feelings though. I would've been pissed if this was a site about civics and that is what we all had but with so few of us, friends are hard to come buy.

... all my money did, and still does. I can't get away from the voices, every week I buy something new - literally. Its fun though, because then right when you get it installed, you think you can take on the world and you want to show it off.

celicaBEst, it depends what you want to accomplish. If you just want moderate power, or moderate appearance feel free to spend your 300 on a CAI or a spoiler. But if you are after big power, or larger than life appearance, save for an engine swap or a bodykit.

having said that, judging from the options you posted it seems like you are looking to squeeze the last bit of power out of your 7A. In that case, I would spend that money on either 1) building your own CAI or if you are too lazy 2) buy a CAI from www.evilspeed.com

The best bet would be to save... yea it sucks not havin the stuff you want right away but it's worth it in the long run... but if you really want something now do the Intake and exhaust.

if your smart about it you can get both for 3OO... like ghost dog said make your own CAI and buy a good universal exhaust and have an exhaust shop make some custom piping.. its cheaper than you think and will be the same as spending the money for a company to pre produce it.

I'm into the sound systems in cars a lot, so I'd buy some nice subs with the 300$ and the wires you need to hook them up, and then save up for installation and a box if you're not gonna do it yourself. Or just get some nice speakers installed (I like the infinities), but that's just what I like.

I'd get the Eibach Sportlines and some KYB GR-2 struts if I were you. I know they're more like $400, so you'd have to save for a little while longer, but they make a huge difference! I installed mine today and my car handles so much better, looks a lot better, and rides close to if not equal to or better than stock. I didn't have the best conditions to test the handling(It started to snow just as we finished installing them in my friend's garage), but I already love the handling!

Id save up for a 3SGTE swap or go with suspension first.
