ok i drive a 94 st205 wrc edition im trying to find out about a little pot on the charge cooler to the right of the turbo between the cooler and dump valve i think it would have something to do with the anti lag but seeing il never be running it i want to remove it but the car wont run right without it even when all the pipes are looped can anyone help

I just did this on Friday to my WRC. Just remove the Antilag valve (its connected by two bolts) and cap off the 2 vacuum lines running to the valve. You can cap off the antilag tubing if you like, but its not necessary because they aren't drilled into the manifold. Then you would need to either run a longer hose to the stock BOV, or install an aftermarket BOV right off the intercooler. Mine runs fine this way, I used an aftermarket BOV.....HKS SSQV

Just a fyi the holes are drilled right into my Group A Rallye, might be a group A only thing i suppose.

what does the rally-a version have that wrc doesnt? and what does the wrc have that standard gt-4 doesnt?
Cuts-the-pilot is correct in that the pipes are drilled into the manifold, I grabbed some quick pictures of the INSIDE of the exhaust manifold while I had it off. I will post those up later when I get a chance to DL them off the camaera. As far as differences go, I dont know of any differences between the WRC and the Group A Rally.
Things that the WRC has, the the standard ST205 doesn't:
Anti-lag (non activate)
Water Injection (non activate)
Heat exchanger/intercooler sprayer (non active)
Steel Wheel CT20b
Those are the "main" differences. But there are small differences all over the place. For example:
Heat shields are different
Exhaust Manifold is an 8 bolt instead of a 9 bolt standard GEN3 Exhaust manifold
Window washer fluid tanks are different
Anti lag pipes
Dump valve off the intercooler for the anti lag, where as the Standard ST205 goes straight to the BOV
That is all I can think of as for right now.

Yes, but I am going to post the INSIDE of the exhaust manifold to show what the anti-lag looks like. There are pics of the WRC manifold all over the internet, a search will provide you with these same pics, but I couldn't find any of the inside, so I figured I would throw them up.

bah i dont know what all that stuff is other than the steel wheel, im assuming water injection is better cooling blah blah blah, dont feel like you have to explain it, just bugs me that i dont know. i'll learn though...some point
water injection is just that, its a nozzle in the inlet manifold below the tb that when activated sprays water into the manifold, as the mist of water evaporates it takes heat from the air, hence cooling the air going into the engine, the water itself also has knock prevention properties.
also wrc/group A Rallye have the bonnet spoiler, and headlight washers in the case of the group A Rallye, intercooler spray bar (this is the reason the washer bottle is so frieken huge (6 litres from memory).
i didnt know the wrc/group A ones had one less stud on the manifold...learn something new every day.

I took the time to look up the GEN3 manifold, because I have heard it was a 9 stud, but in fact is an 8 stud manifold. So both the GEN3 and the WRC GEN3 have 8stud manifolds.
