yes. You really don't need a boost controller to tell how many psi your are running. You don't have a boost gauge installed.
Btw I also have a 3sgte under the bonnet. I like your celica though. how much did you pick her up for?

180sx uses a t28 turbo IIRC or t25 not sure, but those turbos spool up quick but dies fast. I wonder how that would feel on a 5sfe.

I've never heard of a setup like that, a 180SX turbo on a Celica. I'm with bccentaur, I'm curious how that would feel too. I only know a very tiny little bit about turbos, but bccentaur makes it sound interesting. Let me save up for a plane ticket and get over to Australia to find out
