Agreed

Unfortunately, Manphibian is right. Too many people learn where "too far" is right before they get hurt or seriously hurt someone else. I used to have a truck, a '99 Dodge Ram single cab/short bed. It was light for a truck, and had the 5.9 liter. I went hill-hopping in it ONLY ONCE on a road that I know all too well since I live on it. What I didn't know about this road is that it curves ever so slightly at the top of the hill and you never notice it in normal driving. When you are in the air at 70 mph and all you see is a barbed wire fence right in front of you, you learn to not do that ever again. That experience turned out alright, but two weeks after that a kid just a year younger than me got killed doing the exact same thing. I've done stupid things and I learned my lessons. There are no tracks close to where I live, so I try to keep it sensible for the conditions, taking each corner as if there was a child in the road on the other end.

EDIT: Sorry for my semi-hateful posts. I'm working on no sleep here. Kinda grouchy.

BANNED. for life, you moron.
driving when you enjoy it, and pushing the car to a point where you feel like you done something really good. it's just a great feeling, you dont have to be fast, you dont have to be outrageous, just as long as you are thrill you did that cut, or took that corner at the speed you were going. that's my idea, the whole enjoying your drive comes into play =)

x2... driving on open roads, mountain roads with lots of twists and turns with the radio up playing my favorite music and a cigarette on my left hand with all the windows open.

I just had a thought on this. Where do you draw the line between spirited driving and aggressive driving?

I would say that to me, spirited driving is when you are pushing your car harder than what you normally do but well within your limits, and I agree with a lot of other opinions on here that you've got the windows open and the music cranked. But to the opinions that spirited driving is when you are pushing yourself and your car too hard, I'd say that's aggressive driving.

I was actually thinking about this the other day...and my opinion is that spirited driving is above what's usually allowed, higher speeds, a little more aggressive in corners...but nowhere near the car's limit, because that should only be done on the track. biggrin.gif

For example, in my community the speed limit is 25. Now I've sometimes gone over that, but there's also these roundabouts in different sections to keep speeding low, and since my car handles decently well, I sometimes take the longer way around to get to those roundabouts to do a bit of spirited driving, but nowhere near where I could land in a tree or something like that.

Me too, I lol'd so hard at some points... But it took me a while to realize they were in the UK, Because the first few seconds of the movie, didn't he say he was in LA? I get funny points for being retarded; when he first poped into his car i was thinking "sweet, jdm conversion. This "gangster" certainly knows how to do it" lol; Then as NORMAL people started talking (then talking about a Prime-Minister) Then i realized i was just a 'tard... frown.gif

That seceretary had some hot body for sure... Though IDFK how you can get her into that scenereo, and be that close to her ~ and then have some stupid realilization and hand her the cell phone and say "turn this on viberate, and finish yourself off" and go running out the door mad.gif I wanted to kick him for doing that...

That song is used to illustrate the "Ghettoness" of West Staines. And he didn't hit that because he loves his Julie too much, but it's still worthless.

The first scene where his dog is all up on his harblz is hilarious. laugh.gif
