Ok so the final day has been set and it is the 19th. The core of the plan is to drive go-carts at speed zone in the evening time, however if there are enough people willing/free to meet up before it starts to get dark perhaps we can meet up before speed zone.

Please here is a new and final list of those going to the socal meet on the 19th of december is below please add ur name if you can go. also please post what time you can make it so we can better orgainize the on giongs of the day. Keep in mind that the meed will be some time in the evening but if there are a good amount of people who are free during the day maybe we meet up before the evening.

I know this isn't actually on topic, but while you guys are all here, I thought I'd ask. After living up here in NorCal for awhile, I've realized that the number of 6gc members up here are lacking, but the few that are active up here really know their stuff. And Craig, I'm not sure if you're up for the drive, but I know for sure that a few of the members up here would like to meet you in particular. They would like to meet many of the SoCal members. From my time of hosting meets, there have always been talk of a SoCal/NorCal combine meet, but it just seems impossible to pull off due to the drive and people's schedules. But the way I see it, if East coast can pull of an annual multi-state meet every year, then there has to be atleast something we could try, even if it's not as big. Ok just thought I'd open that idea to the future. Carry on with your SoCal meet planning .

I am out of school after the 2nd week of December. I am willing to meet up.

To Derrick, I think we should do that. A meeting place in between or perhaps 2 times a year, 1st one up north or south, and the second the other option taken from the 1st. Or we do it once a year and like that where we do North and then South or whatever. Or just say "Screw it" and we just meet up in Vegas! LOL jk, but that would be nice.

Haha Vegas was the meeting place for my Ultimate west coast meet! It would have taken place in Vegas during the week of Nopi, HIN, or some other large event. But even so, there's so much to do in Vegas! I would totally be down for that. One thing I've learned about meets is that it's not always about the distance of the meet, it's about if it's worth it or not. If there's a meet even only an hour away, but there's no planning and not a lot of people go, then most likely it's going to bomb. But I feel as though, if we, together, can host the biggest West Coast 6gc meet ever held, then it could possibly become an annual thing. I had plans to coordinate the NorCal guys together to caravan down to the Chino Hills meet, but the NewCelica guys gave only about 2 weeks advance notice on the date of the meet, and they held it about an entire month earlier this year (or actually i think they postponed it a month last year due to the fires). We all have jobs, and with the economy the way it is, most of us can't just take off work whenever we feel like it. But if we can plan far enough in advance, we should all be able to work it around our schedules and budget.

An all cali meet would be good but lets foucus on doing a local LA meet first and then later doing a state meet somewhere up the coast

night time meet sounds like a good idea this way work doesnt get in the way.

im down to just meet up at night and make **** up as we go... ...this doesnt really work because ppl are more particular as to the places we go... i like to just wing it although setting up a meet doesnt really work like that.

back to the meet: we should meet up someplace, get some food and decide what to do. winging it is sometimes the best way to find out what to do. a norcal/socal meet is a must.

The 4th Dimension pool hall in Monrovia is $12 all you can play tues ~ thurs. But if you want good quality tables Embassy in San Gabriel has'em.

Ah, I couldn't possibly do anything this week. The other guys might be able to. I still need to take my car in for my clutch repaired. Starting to slip again and I keep lagging it. I need to call the guy and set up something so it isn't sitting there for awhile. I might call tomorrow and set up for next week to bring it in. They should have it done from Thursday - Mon. If not, then I am going to put my foot in someone's arse.

Ya im up for a Meet anywhere in Cali as long as the drive isn't more than an hour and a half. So have you guys figured out an exact date for the meet??

LOL No, I never played an Initial D game in my life. Why? Christina just keeps popping in and out of my dreams. Usually when someone does that, it means I will meet up with them again. how does going to speedzone a bit earlier (when the sun is still out to avoid the HS kids giong at night) and then hitting up pool and food (doesnt have to be in that order) after speedzone sound?

I think speedzone has like a special half price thing on one of the weekdays. it would be cool if we could organize around that
