(At this point, I might drive to Texas just for the road trip experience) -- I'm not sure how long I will be staying there. My best friend will be graduating from the Air Force around that time (I think), so I may only be there 2 days, then drive/fly to Lackland. We'll see.

there's our meet/Hill Country drive which will be sometime in May in Austin.

I'll be at both. Hitching a ride for the Supra meet unless I have a guest, then whippin some ass for ours. This is gonna be a fun Spring time. Hopefully ours won't be as hot as it was when we went in June; that sucked.
BTW, Keri, do we have a set date for our meet? I'd like to be able to request said weekend from work.

Does everyone still want the meet in May or do you all want it earlier in April? It will for sure be cooler in April --- May is borderline beginning of summer heat.

sorry guys been so busy with vadar & life in general i haven't checked back in awhile.
good news is we got the motor & tranny back in the car again & got the carbon fiber driveshaft installed
bad news is still got ~1 month or so to go on getting everything hooked back up, installed & running again

we just got Vadar running right last weekend - had a helluva overheating issue which is thankfully gone now.
we've got a few more things to install, but we're in good shape to bring him down in May
R2's clutch master cylinder just took a dump so as soon as that gets here we can get R2 back on the road again.

it is, but it's having overheating issues that i haven't gotten to deal with. no $$. I ran over a couple of intercooler pipes the other week taking it for a test spin. hopefully it'll be running within the next couple of weeks, then it's up for sale.

we didn't get to do that drive when we met up with those Supra's before b/c the meet was too disorganized & the route takes approx. 1-2 hrs to take it up to Marble Falls then we can go head back to Austin via a more straight shoot

we may have to ask for a ride - haven't had a chance to ride in or drive a Mini yet.
we only have the trailing arm bushings left to replace on Vadar so his suspension is much better suited for a tarmac stage this year hehe

It's getting late in the year and I don't want to do this in the middle of the summer so I'm gonna step up here and start a new thread with a starting point date and then everyone can put in their .02 as to whether or not that date works for them. We will work this so as to accommodate hopefully everyone but the largest number of people if that's not possible.
On a side note: I suppose it makes a certain amount of sense that I do start this as I'm the one who setup our very first year's meet back in '04. I may Post up pics from each years meet so as to intice some new people to come this year.
