Congrats guys - looks like you've just got an awesome new President - smart, astute with strong ideals. Looks like he is going to be strong on foreign policy, the economy, education, health and the environment.

This is finally an opportunity to save face and show the world that we're not the ignorant red neck fat ass Americans we've acted like by putting Bush in the white house the 2nd time... We FINALLY have a true shot at growth as a people and for the first time in a long time, we can actually have HOPE!!!
I'm so proud that as a country, we were able to see through race and vote our conscience. This has been a long time in coming, and Obama is a really good way to start! (Jesse Jackson is just a nut case IMHO) To kick off the HOPE, I'll start by hoping that Obama doesn't fcuk it up for America! Even as a registered democrat, I see how much the balance of power has become imbalanced by shifting SO heavily to the dems. That's a little scary to me. I don't care what party you're affiliated with, Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely. I hope Obama can remember that and initiate a balance of power through who he appoints.

I got into an argument over this with the Supra guys at Taco Tuesday. They were tripping on his middle name Husein (maybe got it right, maybe not, don't care) and I was like "Foo, wasn't Bush friends with the Bin Laden Family?" and then they were like, yeah but a nice white guy last name would be fine, not something related to terrorist. And I was like "Foo! When did Sadom try to take away our rights? We took away his right to torture people, but that foo never had a problem with America LOL". Then I said "So it is ok for a white president to have a Nazi Last name? IS THAT what you are saying? But this man cannot be because of his last name, or even a redneck last name that is the same as a Civil Terrorist such as a clans member?". Then they shook my hand and said "You're right, lemme buy you a drink".
