Is there any way of combatting having lowered springs, while at the same time keeping the lifespan time of the stock shocks?
If as a daily driver (420km / 260miles) a week how long would i expect the shocks to last 3-4 months?

Well your struts are going to wear out over time no matter what. Your best bet is to go with the the Tein S techs. They ride almost like factory and won't put to much strain on your struts. Thats why a lot of us replace our struts when we drop our cars. I'm sure spring rates will play a big roll in how long your struts will last.

well arent tien s tech springs really stiff from what ive heard. THe tanabe df210, which is what i have are not to stiff but not too soft just right. and then you can get the tanabe gf210 which are 20-30% stiffer than stock springs. and i heard the tein's are even stiffer than the gf210 so going with kyb gr2 and tien might not be a good idea. but i could be wrong? the ride wouldnt be that comfortable thats for sure unless wherever you drive the roads are all smooth

Currently my car is running with tein s. tech springs and kyb gr-2 shocks. In normal conditions the ride isn't that different from stock, but in the bends you can feel the difference in the handling. I thing it is because of the progressive wound design of the springs. Anyway, i highly recommend you to try this setup.

do the tein st-techs fit st204?

Yes, Tein makes springs for the 6th gen celica. Regardless of your chasis being a st202 or st204.

Yeah, Eaibach makes some good sportline springs too.

Its better to save up and get everything done at once like shocks, springs, strut mounts, etc...plus you'll save some time too.
