I am hooked! Thanks to you all who talked about it, I gave it a shot and loving it. Although I am going to admit that I prefer the USA version over the original. I just can't get into that "Euro Beat" stuff, no matter how hard I try. Although I don't mind reading subtitles, I would rather not. Not for this. Anyways, just wanted to see if any of you have any information of them making another stage or if Tokyopop is going to continue making more stages for North America (I should have noted that before, I forgot about Canada), or should I say ENGLISH.

Yeah if the acting was convincing. LOL Reminds me of the earlier games for the sega cd and the infamous resident evil (the first one. Remember Barry? "Heh heh heh, What Was THAT?!")
Drifting is cool though. Just that with the music, I would expect to see a few mullets tossed in there.
Ok nevermind. Watched more....... Love it! Thanks! (Isn't this the movie that was filmed illegally? I heard about this one. Watched part 1 awhile back)
Haven't played Initial D arcade. Right now though, I am working on Tokyo Xtreme Drift Racer 2. Took awhile to get used to, but I like it now. Waiting on D1 Grand Prix to come in the mail (no ps3 yet :-( playing on ps2)

D1GP is the best drifting game ever! the mechanics are amazing! i will never get rid of it. I beat tokyo extreme 2 a while ago very nive game as well.
im not sure where i heard that they where coming out with a new stage but here is another show to get hooked on

Oh Definitely! Thanks. I'll check that out, that Wangan Midnight. I heard D1GP was the best, that is why I went to order it. I lost the bid on Ebay, but I got it really cheap on Amazon. But um...... Over a week and still haven't got it yet. But I sold something and I am aware that Amazon isn't paying people their money right away and they say it is due to technical errors. I dunno.

if you like Intial D youll like Wangan Midnight too but its only in jap right now, its made by the same directors and i believe The real drift king is involved with it too couldnt remember how to spell his name so i didnt want to butcher it, lol but check it out too there are only 13 eps ive seen that are subbed so far but i know there are at least 24 eps right now, and you should check the live action out allthough its far from the manga/anime but its a decent movie

well, I guess me being the Nerd that I am, will find little comfort here... the Japanese Subs are the only way to go, the show is way more serious and interesting, and shows some aspects of the Japanese car culture. rather than watching the ****ty US dubed version, which is saturated in the ****ty parts of that teenage tuner culture here.
the Manga is way amazing (if only for that fact that it dives way further in the series and is still being produced now)
I give Takumi some mad respect for sticking with the AE-86... it's like my Celica and I. the car and I are a team, and will stick together as long as possible.
the Live action movie (which I bought in the US) is Chinese (the Actress is Japanese though) and is a little of character wise. but I still love it.
