i took the door card off to instally my new alpines, now the left hand window will not go up or down (using both driver and passenger switches) :9 it did before i took the door card and it worked for a bit before i put it back on but then it stopped working anybody else had trouble?

ok dad and I just got the multi meter and all connections are fine except the motor connection, we are unable to check it until we remove the motor.

has anyoine done this and could you tell me how? (pics please )

i need to know what is wrong so i can fix it the window is slightly open

I just put Alpines in my doors too yesterday! Windows still work fine though.

yeh i rekon itss a dodgey connection at the motor. I put alpine TYPE-R components in the front spr-17S hopefully my type r coaxials (spr-17c) will come today:D and my IDA-X100 shud come soon to

You can run wires from each battery terminal and touch the other ends of them to the motor connection to put the window up for the time being. If the window goes down when you do it, reverse them and it'll go up.

thanks, but my dad fixed it while i was at work yesterday afternoon so now my door cards are back on

What did he do exactly - all of a sudden my windows won't work. When I first did it, the driverside window came down a crack and now I can't get it back up!

... and now the snow is starting to fall...
