Anyone got a brand of rattle can to kick at me for painting a fender?
I need something that'll look good. Doesn't have to match perfectly
but needs to take a clear coat without looking like crap.

Should I just go with Duplicolor?

I've painted a bunch of cars and parts..so I'm ready for the task.

Just wondering if anyone has had good and/or bad luck with any
brands or clears.

i dont know if house of colors has a rattle can???? check them out i ordered my gold pearl from them so soon enough i'll be ballin'

I would never use rattle can for an entire car..But if done right with close attention paid to the clear coat, you can make a fender or similar part look pretty good.

What's the gold pearl for?? A chandelier for your interior?

eh we'll see. the gold pearl will hopefully just give a hint of gold floating on top of the black im gonna be spraying it though my dad might leave to Vegas when i have time to re-re-spray the car

your best bet on clear coat not reacting to your paint is to use the same brand. pm pressure2, he knows a site to get oem color coded paint, can't remember it off the top of my head.

Right on. Thanks. I put the fender on just before winter last year. It was brand new..just primer. I tossed some black gloss paint on it to protect it through the winter. It looks okay. You really don't notice until you get up close. But it's just enough to bug the hell out of me.
