Windcreen Stickers - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #61833 5 posts Started by whatthe
You know those windscreen stickers that go along the top of the glass either at the front or back. Well i tried to put a trd one today. And it went terrible i got air bubbles and it wasnt sticking on straight.
I tried peeling back a little and doing that bit again, but it just got worse and worse. I ended up getting all agro and rippping it into bits.

Does anyone have any advice doing this, i doubt i can ever do it right the next time round?

It pays to start at one end and work your away across. you can use a wet sponge to push the sticker on as you move across.this should stop any air bubbles.

go slow to get it nice and straight.

make a template guide or a grid made with tape to level. stick the sticker on......then slowy work your way across with a flat object, if a credit car can go over the whole sticker than that would be the best bet.

I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island
use a slight amount of soapy water, not much just enough so that you can move it slightly once applied to get it just right
thanks for the help guys, i dont feel buying another one and trying again, i doubt id get it perfect also. Id rather pay someone to do it for me right 100%
