First of all I would like to say BIG THANKS to Batman722... w/o him I had no chance get those parts to my country.

Now I would like to share with some more details (maybe useful for other people as well) that surprised me during installation...

a) I can not imagine that installation w/o decent jacking system and having car lifted really high. Though complete installation took about 4hrs (that's double than announced in how-to articles)




b) I found out old rear sways were rusted as hell...




...but front not at all. Dunno why...


c) rear endlikns were easy to remove... but front ones...


...on both sides had to be removed really violently (by cutting off the nuts)...






d) advice in how-to article about loosening tank and muffler was necessary even for me with custom exhaust pipes cuz I really had no chance pull old bar out of there w/o that step...


e) that "oversteer" question... (Quotation from how-to article) "The holes closer to the end of the bar can be used if you want more oversteer, but if you don't want as much oversteer, use the inside holes that are closer to the middle of the bar.". What is that "oversteer"? I have used those holes closer to the end because arm of sway bar was more horizontall that way (I hope you know what I mean)...


f) and last "issue" was with those new front endlinks... What direction is correct? With that nut up or down? Or it doesn't matter? I hope I have not them installed upside-down...

right on man i bet the car handles like a dream im thinking about getting this too.

how hard was it to take out the old ones and put in the new ones???? Colin told me that it might be hard to put on since its fatter and stiffer

due to the fact that the allen key holes on the original endlinks will most likely be rusted, there will be no other solution but to cut them of which isnt too hard.

the two things during installation that were a problem for me where threading the new sways through.
and tightening the new bushings. (the new bolts for the sway bushing clamps are allen key only, and i didnt have an allen key adaptor for my socket so i sat there for an hour and a half tightening these bolts little by little in the cramped space) GET A SOCKET ADAPTOR!!!!


also for those who didnt figure this out or who didnt have needle nose pliers.

** the section in the how-to article where it explains that you have to use pliers and an allen key to take off the end link bolts...is too complicated of method. all u have to do is get an allen key and a fixed 14mm wrench and turn them the opposite directions until the nut is off

To 808celica: fatter is only rear one and in my opinion front is almost the same. Still I had no problem put the new ones in. It's exactly as how-to articles describes
To Tigawoods: that allen key you mean socket-screw key right? I had the same issue... honestly I dot have any idea why they have been using them at all... So I have used old screws I had there.
To Batman722: Dustin... I'm so surprised how much can "stupid" sway bar do... Since I have installed TEIN coilovers I had troubles with rear a bit. Every single unevenness of road or hole I drove over made big noise at rear. Not that kind of clacking noise (like from bad upper mounts) but one big loud bang. Now it's gone. Moreover I have feeling ride is more smooth... I mean... even with TEINs I had feeling car is... "clattering" (I hope it's right word for what I want to say) on bad surface before. Not now. No more clattering anymore

the difference is like night/day isn't it.

must feel like the car is on rails! but if this is the case, you're not going fast enough

Nice Job Malpaso I got the same setup as yours, twosrus endlinks and suspension technique sway bars (version 1 but it doesn't rub)

nice! i can't wait till i order mine. But thats not till winters over.... But i'll be adding new struts and lowering springs to the mix

Can anybody to a side to side Comparison picture of a Stock GT-4 SuperStrut Front Sway Bar End link vs SS-II/GT/ST McPherson Front Sway Bar End link. I'm curious to know whether the two's r us end link will work up front even though some said it doesn't.

how is the highway sound with that exhaust system? and what size are you useing?

Not a chance for front... I tried to use two's r us end links for my GT-four now and front is too short to fit. they are like 2-3x longer for front on GT-four. That black upper one is OEM GT-four rear and lowest one OEM GT-four front.

i had the same thing on my 5s and man.. it sounded like a huge bumble bee was in my trunk! so i went and put a res. on it and made it more realistic. but than angain i dont have the same engine... i dont think.

then what are those. Those sway bar links that are the same exact size as the gt-four stock end links??? The two longer silver end links that look aftermarket??
