I did this for the first time a few weeks ago, its should be right next to your airbox thats connected to the intake, the one I bought was a bit big so you may have that trouble and make sure it is super tight.
Right under your air box on the wall of your strut tower, go to your driver side fender and look down. it is attached by a bracket.
