i know xs-power isnt all that and has very bad customer service..what im looking at is the down pipe..if you look closely at the downpipe..you see the external waste gate flang & tube coming out of it..would that be a good place to mount a waste gate on the downpipe?? ooh yeah if you look at the first picture and then look at the pictures of the turbo and manifold together its different. ooh yeah post your thoughts about this turbo kit too.. just saw this on alltrac.net and was woundering what 6gc'ers had to say about it..

I have one of these. or had? I dont remember, I will have to look. Yes It will work fine, but you are mistaken in that it is "mounted" on the downpipe. You cant see it in the pictures, but the downpipe is divorced on the flange side. The flange that mounts to the DP to the turbo isnt fully "open" like the stock ct20b, or ct26 downpipe. It is a full "sheet" (for lack of better word" and a 2.5 inch hole is drilled out for the exhaust side of the turbo, and another 3/4 inch hole is drilled out for wastegate. If you look online, you will see there is a smaller whole near the exhaust side of the turbo, this is where that tube for the wategate runs to. Thanks.....JIM
