Will the 5sfe tranny bolt up to the 7afe/4age Motor or is the 7afe tranny the only one that will fit the 4age/7afe ?

well no it will not bolt up however for question 2, all A transmission should bolt to all A engines. That's probably way too vague but I don't know much about the automatic transmissions offered, I can only assume they are very similar apart from application (FWD or RWD-Transverse or Longitudinal) so there will not be too much of a change regardless.

Well..that wont help much then..Im guessing a 4age tranny would be better for a 4age motor than a 7afe tranny yea ?...
I don't know, they might be the same. I think its just that certain transmissions are designed to take more power so the 4A-GZE ones would be an example of that. I think that might be the only difference, I don't know much about which automatics were offered with which engines. I should go do some research.

i've heard theres differences in the torque converter stub length and the depth of the hole in the crank shaft.
