now the 3rd gen switched to map right??? would i be able to run a 92 2nd gen off of a 3rd gen ecu??

Yes, but you would need the MAP sensor, IAT sensor, and possibly an igniter. Plus, you would need an RPM activated switch to turn your TVIS on and off. And a little rewiring.
