Should i rip it off or try to stick it back on? there's some glue residue under the cloth that looks like water marks so i'm trying to make it go back on. is there a technique to tucking the cloth under the elliptical pad it sits on?

I used a thin 6" scale to tuck it back in the creases around the edge. I stuck it to the pad first then dabbed a little super glue [the gel kind works best so it doesn't make hard spots] into the edges and used the 6" scale to tuck it in. Looks perfect after you're done just be careful to go really easy on the glue so it doesn't squeeze out.

The cloth that comes on the door IMO is gross. It feels icky and looks highly flammable. I say either replace the cloth with something nicer (the route I'm going, personally) or get rid of the cloth all together. You could paint the oval part a different color for that two-tone effect if you were so inclined, even.
I'm going back over my stock leather inserts with velvet I think.
Griffy - you should have seen them when the car was new - it looked really good. However it has soaked up skin particles from all the owners and years of contact so it is nasty now. Same with the headrests.

I used F2 glue to put it back on when my drivers side come off, the passengers side is now coming off im thinking of using some vinyl and putting that on instead of the cloth.

I used some 3M glue spray can that they sell in the automotive section like at WalMart. They are for cloths and other things in your car. Sprayed mines and it stuck on pretty good. Also sprayed the top roof my girlfriends corolla because the top cloth was peeling off and it stuck on pretty well.
Yep. I used Spray Tack on mine and it worked great. I'd stay away
from the super glue. If you needed to take them off, you could use
a heat gun or even possibly a blow dryer to loosen up the spray tack.

Spray adhesive is DEFINITELY the way to go with this. It'll hold quite well but still allow removal of the fabric if necessary. Don't forget, when you spray it, to let the spray set for a few seconds before applying the fabric. For best results, spray both surfaces with the adhesive.

Dude, rip it off! One of mine were peeling off so I yanked it. After a lot of elbow grease (getting the old glue off), it's the same exact material as the dashboard! Looks great!

Oh don't use WD-40, I think you'll just have a greasy sticky gluey mess on your hands! Goo-gone or the likes thereof are definitely the way to go. Luckily most of the adhesive is so dang crusty, it'll actually come off with a dry cloth. Mine did; in fact, there was hardly any adhesive to even have to bother with.
