Damn guys, Looks like ya'll had a great time!! I really wish i could have had my car in a drivable condition to meet with ya'll. Hopefully i'll have everything good enough to go for the next one.

I saw thanks. Not exactly good news that it's probably wiring related. I'll get myself over to alltrac.net and maybe you can get some of the techs over there to walk me through it. I'll do that and the first part of the speedo wiring at the same time. Then I'll install my SAFC-II and knock out the second part of the speedo thing at that time and hopefully I'll be finished with all that nonsense then.
Know any friendly knowledgable alltrac peeps in Houston?
BTW - I called Juan at the junkers this morning and of course he doesn't know WTF I'm talking about with the badges but I'll get myself over there and pick them up for you. He did say that since they were just badges we could work out a deal for beer - my favorite kind of bribe . On that subject - the cruise highlighted some major defiencies in the sway bar/bushings and what not in the rear of my car. Anybody wanna get a GB on the side going for bushings, end links and maybe some upgraded sways? PM me if you're interested. Anybody who has upgraded these components LMK what you're experiences were.

BLAHHHH well nobody called and then i heard you old timers flocked back home early lol...........
But i had a blast in SA with scott and other friends, got to drive on some twisties in pitch blackness!!! got vids of the celica / TT driving in the dark and scott kept raping cars while he drove the TT.....just got back this morning in time for work// next meet i'm planning on having built a celi by then so we'll see how that goes if not ill rape that road in the TT

Erik (zero07) said he was on DropTech springs with some balding Bridgestone tires.

The first time around, I made the mistake of going through the course in 5th gear most of the way, so I didn't really have any power coming out of the turns. Bleh. Afterwards though, I was in 3rd and 4th depending on the turns. I think my suspension set-up did fairly well. Probably better if I had stickier tires like Joe's Falken Azenis RT-615.

had a blast at the meet. . . i didn't think my car was capable of those roads, but i say it felt pretty good.

maybe next time i'll actually have a 5 spd and not driving a gayomatic.

Hey everyone. Me and Panda made it back ok. Panda stuck with me at 60 mph which was the best i could do. Thanks Houston Crew for stickin with me for a while. Total damage. Blown Tranny. Yep its gone. Having it rebuilt, be about a week in the shop. but i got a good guy working on it and hes going to be able to keep the repair under $800. But i dont care. even tho we didnt get to make the whole thing and we only got to say high to everyone, i got to meet you fackers and thats what counts for me. It was awesome meeting all of you and it was great seeing the houston crew again, need to do a houston meet soon. well wish my celi luck and hope she makes it out of surgery all better.

On the subject of a North American Celica meet - we all just saw what it took to plan a Texas-wide meet [Granted Texas is the size of several small states but]. I'm pretty sure all we are capabale of is coast-wide meets but I'd def like to tbe proven wrong. Kansas would seem to be the logical place for one. Barring that, I still see a 3rd Coast meet as being doable with it's location in New Orleans [Doesn't hurt that that town is killer to party in either]. Mardi Gras anyone?

Death and Darthripely: my suspension set-up..... Dropzone springs, stock struts, and some really wasted potenzas!

I think its mostley balls and the love to drive, you gotta know what your cars capable of and dont push it any further.

Next time: Strut bar, new rubber, new struts, this should let me be a little more comfortable on those rodes!

Very true. I had a buddy follow me through some pretty hairy high speed turns [at the track] here and he and his '01 GTS found themselves off the course - took out the whole bottom of that car. I'm positive it was driver error. No insurance will cover that either. Poor guy - he loved that car too.

I have DZ springs too, but i guess my balls arent as big as yours zero...

When i was following Keri and Joe (Darthripley) they were leaving me behind and i doubt they were even trying.. lol.. they breeeeeeeeezed around the turns, and when i say breeze i mean literally they made it look sexy and fun (i prob made it look nasty and unsafe) lol

Maybe i was just scared to go around blind turns pretty quickly, and i was scared for my life.. but if i hesitated then i knew i would definitely lose control..

PRACTICE FTW and maybe some coilovers lol

Tranny update: anything and everything that has to do with 5th gear is torn all the Sh!t. Total damage: 1800 bucks. Really sucks too cuz i cant just go buy a new one and install it cuz i have no other car and im in between jobs right now trying to find better employment and i need to get to enterviews, and i dont have the time to replace it myself or with Deaths and Pandas help. I need it back now. Sucks!

But oh well. Glad it happened now then later cuz its never a good idea to be late to a new job. i can be late to the job i have now and they dont say anything. And now my Tranny will be in great shap, so there is a plus to all this.
