i mean sounds dumb and all but recently my battery light turn on and i check if alternator was good and it was so decided to check my battery the guy at the store told me needed to reaplce and a did but thats not the problem, the thing is with my new battery , the light is still on and it turns off when the car is in motion but when it comes to a complete stop it turns on again.

Please appretiated any comments on regards the matter

check your tension on alternator belt if slack adjust and then check your idle tickover if too slow it will bring this on
