Last night I emailed Tanabe about some stuff on their US website, and today I received a reply, which is quoted below.

Yeah, that'd be awesome! >> I just got another email from Tanabe, and they said that everyone who participates in their research and development program will get to keep the part tested if it's in the final pre-production test fitment stage. >> If the part is a prototype though, the testers won't be able to keep them. If some of you wanted to have the Tanabe springs test-fitted on your car in October, you'd be able to keep them.

hrm, i live in the LA area.

but what do they mean by stock? fully stock or stock in regards to the car's suspension?

I have a completly stock 98 GT hatchback. It has 60,000 miles on it, and is in great condition. I would be willing to give it up. I live 20 minutes from Torrance. PM me back.

i helped a friend install his Tanabe Medallion cat back last week on his del-sol

seriously guys...it sounds mean....nice and deep and when you slam the gas it sounds terrific....and he dynopacked it and got about 8 hp out of it

this is great news

especially since Greddy is taking their sweet time with the sp2 exhaust
