I simply can't make up my mind and I've applied alot of what I've learned on this site to my car. I trust that this will help me make a decision. >

Drop Springs verses Coilovers - 6G Celicas Forums
TRD springs are the way to go. but i was to choose from what you have there I would choose th Eibach springs. Or myabe those new coilovers for the gt-4 or the ones that Tein makes.
would the coilovers for a gt-4 fit perfectly?

Nope, the rear suspension is different on the GT-Four. You'd have to do a lot of work to get the Tein coilovers to work I bet.

New Toyota project coming soon...
if you go with coilovers and dont replace your struts you are in for one bumpy ass ride.

the ones that tein makes are specifically designed for the GT-4. Do they have some for the 6th gen celica??

Do you guys think that dropzones will still be crap after we upgrade our struts tho ?
I've read alot about suspension setup in these here forums.
The concenus of opinion general seems to be towards Koni Yellows or KYB GR-2 shocks, however, as for the question of coilovers or springs,
I don't think anyone has come up with a definitive answer or listed the pros and cons.
So let's get this straight...
(...and I should point out here that I am by no means an expert
and all info. comes from reading peoples responses)
Coilovers
Adjustable - Yes (range between 0 - 4")
Rideability - bouncy
Price - @$130 + (dependant upon make)
Extras:
You're going to need new struts...ummm!
(How long will the struts last before you need to replace them again?)
Camber kit (advisable if going for a 2"+ drop )
Wheel alignment - required everytime you adjust up and down.
Springs
Adjustable - No (range between 1 - 1.75" dependant upon make)
Rideability - firm and precise
Price - @$75 + (dependant upon make)
Extras:
None
Draw your own conclusions.

You all have been alot of help, that last post convinced me. Drop springs are the way for me. I looked around alot since I started the pole. The general feeling on coilovers is alot of versitility but high maintenance. On the other hand there is no adjusting a spring but overall good ride qualty without changing the struts. In any case if I wanted to adjust them all the time I would just put hydrolics on, and thats not my style. Once again 6gc.net came through. Thanks again. >
