ok guys. me and Panda have been talking. You guys want to get there early so you can head out and drive out. Me and panda want to roll out at noon and we cant really afford to make a drive like that, as fun it would be, we can barely afford the gas to drive to Austin, but we are gonna for sure, no question about that. its really not that we are being lazy, we just really cant afford the gas, and for use to get up there early would be like asking you guys to get up at 1am to do this. So. here is what we propose.


For the people that want to get there early and do the driving around Marble Falls, go do that before the big meet and the photo shoot. So basically you guys get there and roll out for the big drive around noon. mean while me and Panda will be leaving to head to Austin. by the time we get there, you guys will be back at the bridge. Then we do the big meet and greet and photo shoot. This way me and Panda will not be holding anyone back for the drive, and we will be able to make it and meet everyone and take pictures and what not. So you guys get together and go driving around first then we have the meet and greet and photo shoot. Everyone follow me? What does everyone think?

That sounds like a plan. Lets all keep in mind though that this cruise is the main part of the meet.

We WILL have epic meet video after this. Winding roads, good scenery, celicas, st185s, swapped engines etc. Enough said. The earlier the cruise starts the better the chances i'll be there. Keeping my fingers crossed. I will know more as it gets closer.

Great compromise and ideas. SnapshotGT - I totally love the bridge idea. Maybe we should take day pics there for the 12:00 people and come back and meet everyone else there later for the big group photo? I still say we submit that for the Calander seeing as the Texas group is pretty new and we'll have most everyone together for the first time - just seems apprpriate for the calender to me.

Sounds right. Let's say 8:30 at the latest. I live on 290 at a freeway entrance so we'll jump on and head out from there. Plus I have a full service Celica garage so if anybody needs anything last minute we're good to roll.

i got my ST205 rotors + spacers back from the machine shop & got the rotors turned this weekend - so we should be able to get these installed this week on the alltrac so it will be roadworthy again

on a side note - i talked with my local alltrac friend & he can't make it due to a very bad PS leak + idle problems (possibly bad TPS)

so it looks like we'll be the only ones coming down from Dallas - but we'll be there for sure for the cruise + photos

Nah - no work. Aside from a few minor coolant leaks in very hard to reach places I think i'm finally 100%. Considering turning up the boost a bit more too.

Noone ever likes my ideas so I won't offer one. What I will offer is what I'm going to do if you fcukers don't get your shiz together:
I'm gonna cruise down 35 till I get to SA, have some drinks on the riverwalk, maybe hit a club or two and then hit the hotel in SA. Then the next day I'm gonna cruise the hills near SA and then cruise my happy a$$ home to Houston.
Lot's of cruising there and the plans are nice and adaptable the way I like it. If you guys come up with something else I'll do that instead. If noone comes up with anything then whoever is welcome to cruise with me [and I promise I won't destroy any speed limits unless I'm out in the middle of BFE and then all bets are off - good luck keeping up ]

what psi are you running now? things start feeling a lot more fun around 12-14psi when its not 100* outside though lol
with the heat + heatsoak we're probably only going to be at 10-12psi with 12psi being in the morning

what is the exact address of wherever we are meeting for the cruise?
i want to map it out & see exactly how many miles away it is & how long it will take us to drive down etc etc.

also is the map of the cruise posted a few pages back what we are going to drive for sure?
