so i was driving yesterday.. everything was fine no strange noises or anything.. i parked the car then did wht i had to do came back started the car.. put it in first gear going up to hill.. real loud start coming from tires , i didnt wht is was my car stopped. looked under the car.. axle came out from the joint the passenger side one..i have no idea wht happned.
here is the story i am using 5afe gt tranny from 1990 celica Gt in my 94 celic ST with 3sge in it... the question is do i need an axle from 94 and up gt or can i still use axle from 1990 celica gt since i have the tranny from it..
i really need help thx

i would use the 94 axel

i would use the same axel as the tranny but thats 2 diff generations of celica so ur probably better in this case going 94

hmm like idk why it came out.. may be its not the right one.. or it just was too old.. so u guys say i should use 94 and up axle?

im not too sure, but have you checked your motor mounts, you could have ripped them out and the shakeing from the engine could have ripped it out.. i know that when mine mounts were shot the mechanics said i needed to replace em asap or this exact thing might happen... apparently its not uncommon eithor.. idk dont take my wod on it, but id check them to be safe...

If you have a S53 tranny a 94+ celica axle is not gonna fit dude, 94+ 5SFE came with the S54 tranny, unless you have it custom made or go hybrid axles.

Yes, 90-93=S53 tranny 94-99=S54 Tranny the axles aren't interchangeable.
