replacement woodgrain? - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #59275 4 posts Started by gt_driFFter
I've always hated woodgrain, but for some reason I like it in my 98 GT. Problem is, it has a lot of bubbling and nasty spots so I want to peel it off and put new ones on. ToyotaWorld wants close to $300 and I can't say I like the woodgrain THAT much so I'm looking for different comanies/options. All of the ones on ebay look like cheap/thin stickers. The stock stuff is pretty thick, which makes it look less fake cheesy IMO. Painting, and carbon fibre stickers are out of the question.

Thanks

This is gonna sound weird, but post a picture of what it looks like now. It'd be easier to offer up suggestions if maybe we(okay, me) can visualize or see what you've got to work with currently.
This might just be me, but if you want it right, go to Toyota World. I live right down the road from Toyota World and those guys have always done me right. And since its from Toyota it will fit right as well.
you could always check to see how much a sheet is from another car manufact. like some old lady car like a big mercury, a lot of those had wood grain looks too.
