Which Kit to get?? - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #59271 17 posts Started by bseaman_5
I cannot decide which kit to get...
I have a 96 GT I believe its facelifted.

I love the look of the combat but I don't wanna mess with the fitment too much... But the 404 lip also looks good IMO.. I'm just stumped.. Combat or 404?

Or the varis arising 1 lip,

I need opinions here, help me out please!
Thanks

not enough people go with the Combat kits so that would be my vote. prolly go combat front with the lotus sides (found in part index) and something else for the rear

Discontinued?
as in not sold nemore.

IIRC is If I Recall Correctly (leaving some leaway for me to be wrong or to have someone correct me or confirm my statment)

if you have the money to get a Varis and don't get one, theres something wrong with you. 404 and Combat arent even in the same league as a Varis kit.

combat
i just recently got it, i did a dry fit, it fits pretty good but still gonna have someone else mold it on.
only thing is you have to either have the crash bar cut or removed

i wouldnt mold that front bumper if i were you. that's just gonna cause major headaches if you need to repair/replace a headlight or a fender. but if u wanna go for it.

i like the 404 kit but i absolutely hate the front bumper! i say combat with a toms lip and 404 sides with some curren ssiii splitters on the back
Well, I've finally made up my mind. I'm going with the Varis Arising 1 Kit, I'll prolly keep my stock side skirts, but I'll decide after I get the Front and Rear bumper. I'm hoping I will get it by next summer, I have a cruise to pay off this summer...

btw if you ever get the chance to go to Italy don't pass it up. It's gorgeous!! I would love to end up living there some day..
