The right side speakers in my ST are blown, but the lefts are both still kicking. I was just thinking about taking the 6.5" from the driver side rear, get or make one of those adapters for the 8" door mount, and put the speaker up there to get back to "stereo."

Is there any weird brackets on the rear 6.5's, or would this work well (are they same design as the fronts? It won't throw off the sound or anything?)

What's the best(read: cheapest) place to get the 6.5 to 8" adapters pre-made?


Also, does anyone make 6.5" subs? I'm not big on wasting space and I don't like bass all that much, so if I could get a couple 6.5" subs in the rear that would be an alright option for me.

Never mind, the balance was just set all the way left! I swear I tested this when I first got the car.
