as the title states.. does anyone know?

hmmmm really good question......
you know how much taller/wider the 205 brake are compared to the 204s????
I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island
i know that the stock st205 rims are 16" but i'm not sure if it's wide enough to clear the calipers.

the factory gt4 wheels are 16x8 i belive, and im not sure how wide the 7th gen wheels are. Worst comes to worst, you will have to put a spacer in.
I'm 99% sure they won't clear, unless you get a spacer like Bryan said.
my st205 swapandour Beams swap
definately would need spacers to clear caliper
gts = 16x 6.5
somewhere along that width

thanks for the input guys.. i had a hunch that the 7th gen rims were too narrow.

While trying to move both halves of my ST205, I was using my 7th Gen GTS Wheels as I didn't have any other wheels lying around. They for a fact do not fit, I had to remove not only the caliper but the rotor as well.

aren't st205 rotors like ~12 inches? (really want to say 14" but that seems to large)
edit: changed my numbers

They were refering to the st205, but you have a full tank of gas so its okay if you give me half tank.
PROJECT 6TH GEN<FS: Things up for grabs><Progress>
back from the dead.
i just had a forum member ask if I ever got this sorted out, which i never did.
but going back to the original question, it's not too hard to figure this out.
didn't know about wheel width & offset at the time i made this thread.
so, suppose you're mounting a 7th gen GT-S wheel on a stock ST205, then you'll need a minimum of 7mm spacers to get the same caliper clearance as a stock st205 (assuming no difference in wheel spoke design/concavity).
this is based on comparing the two wheels specs below and running the math:
st205 oem wheel specs are 16" x 7.5" +45.
7th gen GT-S wheel specs are 16" x 6.5" +39.
since i don't know what the st205 oem caliper clearance is, there's a chance that spacers aren't even required at all.
but it would be wise to at least aim at getting the same as oem clearance and for that, go with a minimum of 7mm spacers, or 10mm since spacers are usually sized in 5mm increments.
although, i'd go with wider spacers to achieve the "flush" look.

This is useless without a source but I believe someone here tried and they did not fit.

No it wont due to offset, wont clear caliper
