>hmm... wow lets see....we can somehow start the BBQ when Xavier gets here. does that sound good with everybody?? so in the meantime we can still take some photos and rearanging the cars for better shots and other stuff and help NAm get the Music Video started, like he said...we can also eat chips and drink sodas, non-sodas while at-it. so lets start the BBQ like at 5 ...well call it the "Dinnertime" BBQ lol..... but yeah anyways the park closes like at 8pm. so we gotz lots of time!

Woah woah woah.. the park closes!? It's a freakin parking lot and grass! How do you close that!?

Anyways, I'm fine with starting the actual cooking at 5 or when Xavier arrives. If some of us are hungry, there will be small food like chips and drinks. We can take pictures during that time. I figured I should get a few shots with you guys before I move.

Xavier, we are meeting at Autobacs at 11am, but by the time you arrive, we will already be at the park. Please call Marco for directions smile.gif. It's right by his casa.
a lil off topic but... anyone have a st stock airbox they don't need that i can pick up at the meet?

ss-iii splitters and 404 skirts areon. which means i need to update my sig.
uhhhh...you talkin bout the resonator part @ the bottom near the driver fender or the actual airfilter housing?

Pandelica 2.0 in progress.
Simple, you just turn off the lights, kick people out of the store, and lock the doors...but in this case...turn off the sun, chase you off the grass, and point us at the sign that says "Closed at 8PM"? laugh.gif

I need one too, do you have an extra extra one for me? laugh.gif
Alright, just a random bump. I was thinking to myself while working. The BBQ will have to end at around 8pm if the park closes, but that doesn't mean we have to end the meet. If you still want to hang around, we could probably go to Life Plaza and grab some Boba which I hear is buy one get one free (if you happen to want 2 of the same flavor). They should also have billards in the same plaza and an arcade there. It's the location in Rowland heights I believe, it's off the 60freeway. It's been years since I've been there. I remember that was the first place I hung out at when I moved to California. I think they don't stay open as late anymore though, but I can't find out what time they actually close. It's an amazing place to take night pictures, but the problem is that there are usually a lot of people there (asian people to be exact). Idk that matters, but I thought I'd add that in laugh.gif . They also have a lot of asian stores there, to cater to the asian people. And just because I thought this was funny, but never would have understood it if it wasn't for Marco laugh.gif ...

well naruto is like that kuz they gotta make everything g rated for kids -.-

HAI!!! DATTEBAYO!!!!
haha alright ima head home now smile.gif. We will discuss more of the meet later.
Dude, you're insane if you think we can squeeze in +5 Celicas in that shopping mall. It's a MAD HOUSE trying to get parking there...WAY TOO MANY people with WAY TOO FEW spots. It's hard enough to find parking for 1 car, let alone a whole group of them. But it is a nice place (very nice "scenery", if you catch my drift wink.gif )

The life plaza I'm thinking about has a lot of parking spaces. But yeah you're right, there usually all taken up unless you park in the back hahaha. It is a really fun place to be, and the "scenery".... amazing.. laugh.gif

add me to the list, i will most def try to make it to this BBQ, i think it would be a great way to meet the local 6gc owners out here in SoCal.

I will be at the meeting spot at 11 am or slightly before.

Is there anything anyone would like me to bring? apart from another ST...lol

let me know

Matt

O.K. guys I spoke with Victor and we will both be there. I'll check the earlier posts but I think it said the Marco train leaves his house at 10:30. I have to leave my older Celica at home because it is now a three speed so it doesn't like freeway driving anymore. Instead of fixing the trans I'm going to research a 6 cylinder MKII engine/trans swap biggrin.gif . Let me know if there is anything else we need to bring.

It sounds like it's time to smog your rides. I'm currently looking for a factory air box for my GT because it won't pass visual frown.gif . I thought I kept mine when I moved so I have to dig through boxes in the garage and hope to find it.

Thank you Matt, you've been added to the updated attendance list. I don't think we have anyone bringing plates, napkins, or chips/other non meat items yet. So if you could bring any of those please let me know so that I can put you down smile.gif.

Basicaly everything on the front page that doesn't have a name next to it needs to be brought. I already have you down for lighter fluid and the cooler might also come in handy. Marco has 1 large cooler already, but I would like to keep the meats and the drinks in separate coolers haha. I will supply the ICE and whatever else does not get covered smile.gif.

I'm not sure who else to PM really. Wait, didn't Nam say he was coming? I have to go ahead and add him to the list too. I think Faustino has a good chance of attending. Alyssa says I'm gay. And I haven't heard anything else from Andrew yet.

laugh.gif You're a dork hahaha.

Alright, so anyways, ya'll wouldn't be interested in having a party afterwards would you? A few people from work found out that I'm leaving and they want to throw me a going away party. It might be too late to go to Scoreboards or Crazyhorse for some of you guys, and if some of us are going to be left behind, I don't want to do that. My co-workers haven't told me too much, but it seems like everyone has their own little plans with me. Hahaha, the funniest part is that I've inspired so many people to quit their jobs now haha. There are 3 valets and 2 porters that are going to put in their 2 weeks now that they found out I'm leaving. Yeah, only 5 people, but the service department isn't that big, probably only 45 employees all together, so it's going to be a big hit for the company muhahaha. biggrin.gif . It's because I have strong feelings against how the company is run and how the employees are treated. Like, my one friend for example, he's like.. I would say... 30? And he's got a university degree, he's been working there for many years, and he speaks 3 different languages. He's a really big help to the company, but they refuse to pay him what he's worth. They pay him like he just got out of HS or something. It's seriously, really really bad working there, but it has taught me a lot about how companies are run, and what can be done to improve efficiency. I never knew the importance of guest service until working there, and all the classes they sent me to. But, I'm getting something better, but I'm going to take what I learned with me smile.gif. Dang, I started rambling again.

Anywho, I hope this meet turns out to be a success! I'll be happy with whoever shows up, I really appreciate your time guys. I hope you all have a good time smile.gif.
afterparty eh? hmm.....

laugh.gif haha you know it! I would have the afterparty the following weekend, but me + partying = not being able to drive to NorCal hahahaha. I get kind of worried about not getting a party in before I leave, but then I think about what I'll be doing after I move and things don't look so down anymore smile.gif. oooo....girls....drool..... laugh.gif .
ehh ill see if i can get that new guy who lives near me to come.. hopefully he doesnt think im a stalker or anything.... laugh.gif he has a really clean coupe with projectors

also ill see if i can get that pinoy chick who wrecked her celi earlier, she says she got a vert celi now but i highly doubt it since she tends to bs a lot -.-

please PM me if there is anything else important that i need to know for i do not get to check the site very often, i dont have a comp readily available.

Cant wait to meet you all.
