I have a red 98 GT Convertible and both top motors have gone out. If anyone has both they would like to sell. I'm also looking for a 3 post spoiler with lamp. I have a 3 post w/o lamp that I would be willing to trade/sell if anyone wants that.
If I can't find anyone selling the motors, I'll give the DYI fix a try.

If your symptoms match the ones detailed in the DIY, definitely do it. I thought I needed new motors and the cheapest I could find would have cost me $175 each from a junk yard. For a new hacksaw blade and two drillbits I paid about $5 and the fix worked. You've got ot take the motors out to replace them anyway, so why not try the fix while you're waiting on a reply. It can't hurt. Just my $.02.
