Coupe Owners....Composite trunk - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #58265 14 posts Started by playr158
Ok for you coupe owners, I'm just curious as to if you guys would be interested in light weight trunk lids.
Materials would either be a Carbon Fiber trunk or a Fiberglass

Fiberglass would cost $250

Carbon Fiber would cost $350
(here is the 1st CF decklid I produced its a wrap)

(not including shipping)

I would be interested in a Carbon fiber one for sure. Actually, I had thought this was the only CF trunk lid too, until I saw a white coupe with a CF trunk lid. It was parked on the side of the road, and yes I'm sure it was real CF and not just a black trunk lid haha. But yeah, put me down smile.gif.

QUOTE (Galcobar @ Oct 15, 2008 - 2:44 AM)You want power but have no money. That's a problem.Cheap. Reliable. Fast. Pick two.
There are no pre-fab spoiler options. You buy your own spoilers. I would not warranty the part against damage from mounting a spoiler, nor guarantee its ability to support a spoiler. (A proper spoiler should be mounted to the trunk floor and not the decklid anyways)
interesting. who's going to be making these?
I fabricate all my own stuff..... products section will be up on my site soon.
