haha sounds perfect, she's @ the mechs right now if she still squeals like a pig then we'll call in a meeting for my lameass brakes T_T

So I just got off the phone with my mech, and he's up for doing the swap for me, but he said that I should work on finding a better gearbox first, so keep your eyes peeled for parts cars for me guys! Hit me up with PM or just email straight to me @ dannyluong1@hotmail.com any help would be appreciated guys

Danny, when are you going to be getting your car back? I don't know about going all the way down to David's/Jeremy's to do brakes, but if you want to come up the hill we can do/finish them at my place.

Actually I need to do the brakes on my RSX too, so if anyone has a free day, let me know and maybe we can get some beer/pizza/brakes/rockband/cod4 goin.

Jeremy's in Airdrie. We can go anywhere though. Could also bring tools to your place.

I know he is in Airdrie, but my car is up on stands right now, and I don't have driving insurance. Danny lives down the hill from my place.

I have a bunch of tools, just nothing air, all my tools are hand/cordless.

The only thing I can think of that we might need if we are going to be working 2 sets of cars, is another pair of stands. I only have 3 pairs.

Man - that air ratchet + gun saved us a shyte load of labour in the past couple of mod days... lol

But I got a sweet breaker bar I can bring now! LOL!

I just got her back, she doesn't squeal like banshee anymore, but it's still a bit there, I need new axles now too ahah, there's something messed with mine, you guys know if toyotaworld has these parts? I'm just gonna go check now, haha corey, if you need me just send me a text

New axles? Front or rear? You can get these at NAPA/auto value for pretty cheap. It would probably be a bit quicker than ordering off toyota world.

Would either David or Jeremy be interested in coming up North to do some brakes (and axles if we get them) in the next week or so?

got a number you could hook me up with? I need new front axles lol, they make clunking noises when i turn right, it's ****ing horrible. I've been thinking about selling her and grabbing a 7th gen, but I know it just wouldn't be the same, also my wheel allignment is a bit messed now, ugh, hopefully i'll get a new job soon and be able to start repairs on this beast

Can you copy that link to the beyond forums - I went there today to read up on details but couldn't find a Calgary Toyota meet...

I think the majority of us should do this as a "end of the season" meet too... might be fun! I wouldn't mind getting some photos with some MR2's, Supra's, etc... that'd be BA.
