How would i fix the Convertible Rear Driver Window - 6G Celicas Forums

Here's what happened, one of the white pieces that guides the window up broke off.... you know the little white wheel i need to know waht is the easiest way that i could put it back on

its the middle one that fell off, there are 2 others but those are fine, its just the middle one i need 2 fix.

it wont roll up straight anymore, i need 2 fix this asap please help

you need to buy the whole thing.... the plate assembly...

haha i did this, long time ago. I dont have part numbers, but its about 65 dls maybe you can get it used...

when you get the part, pm me, i still have some pics, its PITA, taking the glass out. Ill walk you trough it...

but like the guy above me asked, is it possible to replace that white piece??? or would i have 2 get whole new piece

I tried, called the dealer and there is no part number for the white piece of plastic, the #2 you see there is a metal washer that is a PITA to take out, but i figured it out.

Cant explain it but with pictures, i will post today at home....

part # 69801-0w010 r
part # 69802-0w020 l

these were the parts # from dealer, but i punched into toyota world, and did not come up.

Yeah, i had the same problem. I called up the local dealer and they told me the same thing. I had to replace the whole plate.

But in the meantime i had used a ring-clamp. A tiny one. Just clamed it on to that metal ball on the post that comes out of the plate attached to the glass...

Did all that make sense? you might have to read that last sentence 2-3 times laugh.gif i did laugh.gif laugh.gif

but the ring clamp cannot be a permenent solution, it is likely that it'll be hung up in something, or fall off given enough pressure.
