Hey peeps i am wondering about the original JDM OEM wing spoiler that comes on the GT4....

i know many have added this onto their celicas so what i am asking is does this spoiler come without the riser blocks having GTFOUR embedded onto them???

yeah.. the spoiler itself is just like a stock 2-post spoiler that you'd find on any other hatchback. So really no need to just get the spoiler imported, unless you plan on getting raiser blocks too.

yah i would like to get the raiser blocks as well but without them having the GTFOUR on them is that even possible??

I've seen it on some 6gc's..but I think it requires some customizing. Sometimes they are for sale on these forums or ebay though, so you could always check around, but I doubt there's anywhere making a mass number of them if that's what you're looking for.

the gt-four wing is just teh stock hatchback wing with teh gt-four raisers, which show up on here, and ebay very frequently.

just get some bondo and fill the word in yourself.

ok so i got the 3 post spoiler on mine... how much should i be looking to spend to get the risers and the spoiler?

if you get the riser blocks of the ssiii celica or or late gt4 it won't have the lettering imprinted on them. i have some that are shaved but they are replicas made by doggy. he no longer makes them. you could try sending chrisc a PM and see if he makes them. but to find some oem that don't have the lettering will be pretty tough.

yah i know i found an original OEM JDM spoiler with the raiser blocks on ebay and it has the GTFOUR lettering on the raiser blocks...

so the ones without the lettering imprinted on the are replicas... i c i c

the guy that is selling his on ebay is selling it for $268 both the riser blocks and the oem spoiler... and it looks pretty good condition still a couple scratches but i would need to get it painted anyways.. is this a good deal??

it's a good deal considering they're OEM and are not replicas. if u find it expensive, i'll trade you mine (replicas) + cash for it if you buy it.
on a side note, it will be less hassle for you to look for a 94-95 rear hatch door to mount the spoiler on rather than drilling holes and sealing existing holes on your current hatch.

or this 98 gt4

instead of imprinting the gt4 emblem into the blocks they just use an emblem. so shaved (so to speak) risers do exist that aren't replicas. they are just near to impossible to find.
