This is why I stopped planning these events for 6gc's only - there's always some BS. Other car owners rarely have these problems or if they do then they say "I can't go to the .... But I'll meet up with you guys for the rest of the meet' - simple. No reason to make it a bigger problem. Ya'll wanna go to a park in schulenburg or wherever I'll be there.

I've been reading thru trying to find the date to see if I can make it. As far as death and d-man racing every friday in baytown they have open track import verses domestic. So it would be nice to see one of you rep a 6gc. Any way the sealy track isn't far from where I work. I don't know exactly how far away my wife will allow me to go being I am the cook here at home she pays the bills lol (no smart remarks lol ) anyway I'll read thru again and find out. I still wanna meet the houston crew.

TRUST ME, it sucked a lot more for us then it did for you. But it did. Nothing we could do about it, and it happens, and anyone with responsibilites knows that Sh!t happens to keep you from doing things you want to do. SO GET OVER IT!

So. If no one is happy with what Houston is trying to set up, then you tell us what is half way and what you guys are willing to do. The date is set for the 7th of June. Everyone said that they where good with that date. Forget Camping. Forget Track. forget all the past suggestions. If you dont want to go because its only a day and its not worth it to you, THEN DONT!

For the people that would like to meet for a day somewhere what is half way? Bastrop? if you want to get down to it thats closer to Austin. Schulenburg is right in the Middle. for everyone but Dallas people but i dont think we have anyone from Dallas wanting to go. So thats whats in the Middle. thats whats far for everyone. However if you have a better place that would be more fun for just a day meet that everyone is willing to drive to post it.

yeah Jarad95 come down for less than 3 hours when we met up in bastrop. its all anout is it worth it FOR YOU.

That being said. lets calm down, we cant have a meet with flames between us. common this is TEXAS. we have a little bit of everything, we can fine something fun.
like what Zero and I found in bastrop. that hilly/curvy road and the cliff/scenic view. everyone seemed to enjoy that and we got a few good pictures.

And yes i did bail on the texas meet, and yes i'm the sole supporter of income for my 3person + Cat family.

Thats why i bailed. i have to worry about feeding my kid and my wife first before i can worry about driving half way accross the state to "hang out"

I do believe that's why we're trying to shoot between Houston and SA; and were gathering Houston and SA people mostly. Of corse anyone is welcomed, but mostly we're trying to meet close enough for both of us, as it had became apparent that we needed to meet bassed on a "FS" thread that lead to the creation of this thread...

So where are we gonna have this thing?

The only place that i've been towards Houston is Fayette county lake, talk about HUGE bass!
The only bad thing about that place is the slot, 14 and under or 24 and over!

Everything of course is big and between that slot that you catch, its alot of fun though if your the fich'in type.
